How do I make a purchase?

Shopping at Gina Brar is easy:

- Select the ‘SHOP’ tab from the menu bar to view the full Gina Brar collection.

- You may narrow your search using the menu filters available.

- Once you have found an item, select your size and click on the 'ADD TO CART button next to each item.

- Review the items in your shopping bag by clicking the 'SHOPPING CART link at the top of the page. You can use the 'REMOVE FROM BASKET' link to delete items from your shopping cart.

- Click on 'PROCEED TO PURCHASE' to complete your order.

What is ‘Made-to-Order’?

- All Gina Brar garments are ‘Made-to-Order’ which means that they are put into production once your order has been places. To purchase a ‘Made-to-Order’ item simply choose your size and add the item(s) to your shopping cart.

Can I request changes to the design of a garment or outfit?

- All ‘Made-to-Order’ garments are created as displayed on screen and are available in the specified sizes only. If you would like to have an amendment made to a design then you may choose a ‘Bespoke’ garment or for a completely unique design please contact us to discuss a ‘Made-to-Measure’ garment.

What is a ‘Bespoke’ garment?

- A bespoke garment is one of our existing designs that has been tailored to your tastes & specifications. We can make additions such as sleeves & embellishment, adjust hemlines & necklines and mix and match colour coordinations as per your choice. There is a surcharge for all ‘Bespoke’ creations. Please contact info@ginabrar.com for further details. Please note that all ‘Bespoke’ items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

What is a ‘Made-to-Measure’ garment?

- Whether it’s a wedding dress or a for a special occasion, if you are looking for something truly unique we are able to create a one-off ‘Made-to-Measure’ garment or outfit that is designed especially for you.

- All ‘Made-to-Measure’ garments are priced as per the garment/outfit in questions.

- Please contact info@ginabrar.com for further details. Please note that all ‘Made-to-Measure’ items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 

How do I care for my Gina Brar garments?

- Due to the delicate nature of all our garments we recommend taking the upmost care when wearing and storing them. Store away from direct sunlight and fold with tissue to avoid any catching from the embellishment.

- All Gina Brar garments are dry-clean only.

- Be careful of any jewelry that might have rough edges as these could catch on the fabric and cause damage.

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

- Setting up an account is not necessary and if you wish you may place your order as a guest.

- To create an account, simply click on 'SIGN IN' and then 'REGISTER NOW' to fill in your details.

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

- If you have forgotten your password, follow the 'FORGOT PASSWORD' instructions on the SIGN IN page.

Which size should I choose?

- All products are sold using a UK sizing scheme used by the designer. To convert this to an international size, simply click on the 'size conversion chart' link, which you will find on every product page.

- Sometimes sizes can vary as per the design of a piece therefore we have also provided the actual dimensions of each product for you to compare with your own body measurements. Where an item runs small or large to size, this will be identified within the 'size & fit' tab on every product page.

Are the colours of products shown on the website accurate?

- While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

- All items are in stock unless ‘SOLD OUT’ is displayed. Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping bag, another customer can still buy it until you have completed your order. If the product you want to buy is out of stock, please email info@ginabrar.com to find out if there is a backorder for that item (you will need to be a registered user).

What payment methods does Gina Brar accept?

- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Maestro credit and debit cards.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at Gina Brar?

- At Gina Brar, your personal online security is important to us. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to store and safely transmit your personal and credit card information through our systems. All orders are processed through a secure checkout system. Additionally, for your safety and protection, we will confirm that the billing address you provide matches the address on file with your credit card company.

Does Gina Brar ship to multiple addresses?

- Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order.

- If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address.

Do I need to sign for my order?

- Yes, all orders must be signed for. Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorise packages to be delivered without a signature.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

- We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

Can I add items to an existing order?

- Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order, which contains all the items you require.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?

- After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. Your card will only be debited at time of dispatch. In the rare instance that any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you by email and will only charge your credit card for the value of the items in stock.

Where is my order?

- We aim to dispatch all orders within two weeks. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, Gina Brar is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details.

How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

- For UK Customers, product prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

- For International Customers, product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

 Is my package insured?

- All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from Gina Brar to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance. Gina Brar cannot take any responsibility for items once they have been signed for & delivered.

- If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box.

What packaging will my order be shipped in?

- Your order will be delivered to you in our luxurious signature tissue paper wrapping.

Can I add items to an existing order?

- Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order, which contains all the items you require.

Is my personal information kept private?

- Please be assured that all personal information disclosed whilst making a purchase is kept completely private and confidential.

- When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. If necessary, these details may be shared with a credit reference agency to verify your order. Please note that Gina Brar may use your contact details to inform you of the latest arrivals and fabulous new services via email. If you would prefer not to receive these updates there is an option to unsubscribe linked in each email.

What are cookies? Should I be worried about them?

- A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser which tracks your movements within websites. We use cookies to keep track of how often you visit our website, the contents of your shopping bag, previous purchases and to deliver content specific to your interests. They are designed to assist your shopping and are therefore nothing to worry about. Most browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies, but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance.
